Winning In Your Toughest Season
Winning is non-negotiable IN GOD! When we win, the winning is not in the products or created things that God gives us, but the win is from God Himself in relationship to us. We must recognize that this is where the win comes from.
Some people struggle with this phenomena that God exists and that He actually came to earth and revealed Himself to men and women through the birth, death, and resurrection as a God-man from heaven who is revealed to human beings as Christ, the Son of God. It’s funny how some of these same people can actually believe stories like those in Greek mythology and superheroes in Marvel Comics. They find those stories fascinating. They honor those stories by buying the books, enjoying the story lines, and even going to the expos and sharing in communities of like-minded fans who enjoy the stories. But they have problems believing that good and evil is played out today in one simple Gospel message – that God sent His truth to the world in the form of Jesus Christ.
Some of the same individuals who have trouble believing in God as the Father of All things good, have no trouble believing in God’s good works, like: the miracle of childbirth, being in love, demonstrating honesty, integrity, and transparency as values that they hold dear. The issue for them is where do these things come from? Whatever blessings that exist come from God for God owns every single thing on earth and in heaven, and He is the Creator or mankind and the source of everything good, even ideals and ideologies.
If they are good, they came from God. If they are not good, they came from the devices of man’s enemy, which in the end, God will still use that which is not good for His Plan, for all things serve God’s Plan and His Purpose – not anyone else’s, because beside God, there is no such thing as another God. He is the only ONE wise God, our Lord Almighty and King of All.
The enemy, Satan, is not an equal to God. The enemy is under God, just like all things that are made were made to serve the laws of God. God’s laws were good, and God’s laws established, among other things, angelic beings. That is what Satan was before he rebelled against God. His name was Lucifer, an angelic being. He is a product of God’s judgement in the law, that says, “All things serve His Plan.”
Because God established this law that all things serve His Plan, when Lucifer and any other angel rebelled against what they were created to do, they were judged according to God’s law. They must be eternally bound to serve God’s law. The laws of God were established in perfect order because the laws which allowed Lucifer, an angelic being, to rebel against God were established by God before man was created. God in His ultimate wisdom did some pretty amazing things before He ever created the first man. For example, when God got ready to make man, He said, “Let US make man in my own image.” God had established Himself a Son and Holy Spirit to redeem man and give man everlasting life in God’s presence before man was even created. It was in this triune nature, that God decided that is how He would create mankind. Then, on the sixth day of Creation, He did it. God made man out of His own creative nature, and He gave man several good gifts.
The gifts were:
- God made man in His image with a spirit to connect with God;
- God gave man the privilege of choosing to know God alone (and not knowing good and evil – even though God knew that man would choose to know evil eventually); and
- Jesus Christ was already there at creation to serve as a man and be the truth of God on earth, “God with man.” free will to choose to protect mankind and creation are all good; these same laws established the freewill of man to choose his destiny by honoring God as His Source of truth. When God allows man to believe or not believe in God as Creator of the universe, this is a high privilege that is only given to man, not angelic beings. Even though angels have the power to rebel, they are not able to chose their destiny, they are simply beings that are created solely to serve the purpose of God. Man, on the other hand, is not damned like a robot to solely serve the purpose of God; mankind is given the privileged capacity to determine his own destiny. AND to be like God, which is to glorify or exemplify God’s love. An angel does not have this capacity, he can only elect to rebel against God, but the angel will still have to serve God. An angel can never be a Son of God or Daughter of God, as a man or woman can. An angel will always be a product or device of God’s law – not an offspring of God’s image – a living breathing soul whose sins are washed away by simply trusting in childlike faith in God as the Father of all things that are good, for He is the Creator of good.
I hear God saying in my country, the United States of America, and all over the rest of the world what Jesus says in John 6:62-65.
62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? 63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. 65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
(my paraphrase here),
“You’ve got to believe me. You are questioning whether or not I am real, whether or not I am God. What if you saw me go back right now into the heavens from which I came? Would you believe then? Truly, I have done that, and men who were living at the time wrote of me,…”
By all your scientific standards, anything else that happened like this, we would have called it a scientific hypothesis, a theory, and a law right now. The United States of America actually birthed and established a nation on this belief. But now, there are some of you here who still today do not believe.
