REQUIRED LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Leadership Successful Beginnings is a 6-week leadership development program for workforce participants. Students will complete a Journal-designed textbook and perform assignments in the Leadership Successful Beginnings Class APP.
Sponsored by Launch Point CDC, this Leadership Development course is designed to strengthen students’ professionalism, confidence, and workplace readiness so students can succeed beyond the state exam. Potential employers and funders of the program look for leadership qualities that help the workers stand out—not just pass the exam but succeed on the job.
Students must submit all Leadership assignments outlined below at least 1 week before Graduation to receive their Certificate for this Course.

The Leadership development segment of the Launch Point CNA program is required. The program is 1-hour a week and can be done online self-paced anytime 24/7 on any phone or computer device. Students can also complete the program live on Zoom if preferred, but Live Zoom is not required on an ongoing basis. Zoom is simply required during orientation to help students get on the Class App and go through the instructions easily and successfully.
If there are questions or extenuating hardships that prevent student’s participation successfully for 1-hour a week online in the Class App or on Zoom, students should speak directly with the Leadership Program Instructor privately outside of class. The Leadership Program Instructor will be happy to assist and provide students with additional information.
